Meet Your Shoreline Dentist
Welcome! I am Dr. Eric Yao. I’ve been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and have served the Shoreline community since 2003. As someone who grew up in Seattle and has spent much of my life in Shoreline, WA, it’s a true privilege to care for the neighbors and families in the community I call home. I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Washington School of Dentistry, 1998. In 2012, I earned Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry—a distinction held by fewer than 1% of general dentists - after completing 1,100+ hours of advanced training. Besides treating patients at my dental practice in Shoreline, WA, I teach at the UW Dental School on Fridays as an affiliate professor.
My approach is simple: treat every patient like family. I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where people feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. Dentistry challenges me to think like an artist and a problem solver, and I enjoy finding the best solutions for each patient. Our dentistry in Shoreline, WA provides comprehensive care for all ages.
